Whether you’re a devoted Yelper or one of Yelp.com’s critics who believe it serves primarily as an outlet for whiners, there is no denying that the website is a great tool for raising awareness about local organizations. Now that Yelp.com is branching out to incorporate non-profits as well as businesses, Yelpers now have the opportunity to rate and comment on more socially-oriented organizations.
Now that we have a profile on Yelp.com, Empowered Women International would like to invite you, dear reader, to put your two cents in and rate our organization! And if you don’t have a Yelp account, we encourage you to try it out! The reality is that Yelp.com is not the perfect rating site, nor is it constantly inundated by the negative reviews of complainers. Overall, what the website represents for EWI is another means of reaching out to the local community and receiving their feedback. And you better believe that your voice matters to us!
