The Center for Financial Empowerment is Now in Session!

Tonight from 6:30-8:30 pm Empowered Women’s Center for Financial Empowerment  will meet for the first time.  The Center for Financial Empowerment is a newly launched program that will provide women with a safe haven to discuss money and the challenges they face surrounding their finances. The course will provide mentoring and coaching for all participants, and will also require accountability to each other in an effort to improve women’s financial futures. 

This evening’s course will be on the topic of confronting and overcoming the fear of money.  Under the expert guidance of Samantha Fraelich, EWI’s course trainer, a Certified Financial Planner® practitioner with Bernard R. Wolfe & Associates in Chevy Chase, Maryland, student’s will learn about different aspects of financial management during each course.

All classes will be held from 6:30pm-8:30pm on the 1st Tuesday of every month at the EWI office located in Convergence in Alexandria. The classes will run for 12 months and selected students will commit to attend all classes.

The 2011-2012 program will be open only to EWI members and graduates of the Entrepreneur Training for Success.
