Our office in Alexandria was transformed today into a temporary studio for EWI volunteer and photographer Ernesto Rivera, who offered to take portraits of the recent winners of our ETS Business Plan Pitch event, as well as our summer interns!
Ernesto provided a relaxed, fun environment for his models and even offered up some clothing suggestions for portraits such as:
“The most flattering neckline for anyone is something that comes up close to the neck. A wide-open neckline tends to thicken the neck in a photograph. On the other hand, a neckline that comes up to the base of the neck – a turtleneck or a v-neck top is the most flattering. It tends to slim down the person and frames the face beautifully.”
“Have fashion accessories on premises, such as scarves, jewelry, hats, flowers, etc.”
“Avoid bared arms where possible. Opt for long-sleeve shirts/blouses rather than short-sleeve.”
EWI would like to sincerely thank Ernesto for providing our graduates and interns with quality, professional portraits, and we encourage our readers to learn more about Ernesto and his photography at: http://www.ernesto.rivera.name/.
